The most valuable asset that I own is my mailing list. And my mailing list is the direct line to thousands and thousands and thousands of raving fans of my music education content.
So when I want to sell a product, the first place I go is to my mailing list. And when I want to promote some of my new free content like my YouTube videos and my podcast episodes, the first place I go is my mailing list, because the people that really want to hear from me, that’s where they live.
And as a result, my mailing list is my number 1 revenue driver in my online music education business.
So, how do we get people on to our mailing list? The best way that I know is to offer a lead magnet. We’re going to talk about what lead magnet is and how to create a great one to get people on your mailing list.
