Here are my favorite tools of the trade I use as a passive income musician!

This is a list of some of the tools and services that I personally use to run my online music education business. I recommend them only because I get massive value from them, and I know you can too. Note that some of these links are affiliate links. That just means that at no additional cost to you, I get a small commission from any sales made when you go through these links. I appreciate the support!

Bluehost

If you want to have a music education business, you need a website. Bluehost is one of the website hosting companies I use for my websites. I suggest Bluehost because they have a reputation for great customer service, and I personally have had a good experience with them. Bluehost also has great starting prices at only $3.95 a month!

Pro Tools

I use Pro Tools to record audio for my courses, eBooks, videos, and podcasts. It’s not the cheapest tool on the market, but it is the industry standard as far as recording and mixing go. Fantastic investment if you are planning on recording a lot of music and want top of the line results.

Canon EOS Rebel T6

When filming instructional videos for my music courses and my YouTube channel, I use the Canon Rebel T6. While I did just start out with my iPhone, the Rebel really took my video quality to the next level. Highly recommend for a good middle of the road price with top-notch quality to deliver your music lessons.

Finale Music Notation Software

For writing my music eBooks and all music notation on my blog, I use Finale. There are others that are great on the market as well, but this is the one I am most familiar with. You really can’t go wrong, and I would suggest having a professional looking and quick way to deliver music to your students.
