If you’ve started your journey as an online music educator, you probably can relate to the anxiety of constantly looking at your numbers.

How many YouTube subscribers do I have now?

Why didn’t I get as many newsletter subscribers this week?

Why is my blog traffic down so much?

It’s easy to look at other online music entrepreneurs and start doubting your ability to make an income online. You may think that the only way you can start having success is if you have hundreds of thousands of music student followers.

I’m here to tell you that’s not necessarily true.

Sure, having a lot of followers helps. But it’s more important to be building relationships with your audience so that they become super fans.

Super fans are members of your audience that not only will buy almost anything you come out with but will also feel compelled to spread the word about you to other musicians.

In this episode:

1. Do you need a massive audience to make a living as a musician online?

2. What super fans are and things you can do to start nurturing those relationships.

I always like to give you a disclaimer: making super fans is not easy. It takes hard work, commitment, and being genuine with your intentions.

Your audience is not just a bunch of numbers. They are actual people with feelings, and hopes for their musical improvement. Be there for them, and do your best no matter how many you have.
