One problem that you are likely aware of if you consider yourself a freelance musician, is the fact that you don’t have a consistent salary. You are always fighting those empty spaces in your calendar.
Unfortunately, even if you’ve built an online audience of music students and have products to sell, that problem doesn’t completely go away.
While the powers of passive income will trickle in, you will still need to continually launch new products to grow your revenue. You may have months of income that are quite inconsistent with each other.
The membership site model is a big help with that. Of course, no model will ever cure the problem completely, but it will provide a level of consistency a launch based model cannot.
